How to run Jupyter lab
- Open a terminal
- On Windows: Click the start menu, then start typing "Anaconda Prompt" (but without the quotes) and select
Anaconda Prompt
- On Mac, type CMd-space to bring up the search box and start typing "Terminal" (but without the quotes) and select
Terminal
.
- Activate your astro research Python environment by typing this into your terminal:
conda activate astro_research
- Start jupyter lab by typing this in the terminal:
jupyter lab
- When you are done
- Close the browser tab that lab is running in
- Type Ctrl-C twice in the terminal (or just close the terminal)
